FAQ’S.

** OUR POOLS ARE PRIVATELY OWNED – STRICTLY NO USE OUTSIDE OF AN ORGANISED SESSION **

Wildlife

Its likely that there is some kind of wildlife around, within or on our pools; from geese, swans to snakes! By keeping session numbers relatively small, we ensure that we don’t disturb any wildlife as well as providing benefits to you, the customer. Fish (trout) are present within the pools and act as a realtime indicator for water quality. Generally the fish (trout) will be scared of you, occassionally they may brush past you. Our safety team will always be on hand to advise and reassure you.

Water Quality & Safety

Water is tested regularly (monthly) and is sent off to a lab to ensure its safe. Fish are also present within the pools which act as a good indicator for water quality in realtime.

An open water lifeguard is present on bookable swim sessions for your safety and our peace of mind.

The weather can sometimes hamper operations. In some cases we may cancel or postpone swims.

  • Cover up any wounds/scratches to help prevent infection.
  • Do not swim under the influence of alcohol, drugs, or if unwell.
  • Not advisable to wear contact lenses when swimming.

  • Sessions have an Open Water Lifeguard in attendance.
  • Safety briefings by the pool prior for new customers/non regulars.
  • Swimmers – MUST wear a brightly coloured hat/headwear AND tow float.

After:

  • Warm up before leaving the venue.
  • Before eating/drinking, wash hands. Car park has a water tap.
